Are students prepared for life by the Leaving Certificate?

Almost 59,000 students have been receiving the results of their Leaving Certificate examinations today. This year's results are being published a day earlier than usual, as part of a move to speed up the processing of Leaving Cert appeals in order to facilitate college entry. Guidance counsellor Brian Mooney joined Ivan to give his predictions for when the CAO offers come out on Thursday at 2pm Michael O’Grady, from CBC Cork, achieved 8 H1s, scoring 90pc or above in all eight subjects at higher level, also talked about his shock at the results.
