Plan B Listen Back: Pamela Laird Talks The Apprentice

Pamela Laird At the end of the year, we all tend to wind down and count the days until our Christmas break. Not Pamela Laird - she was in full-on work mode, trying to impress Lord Sugar into hiring her as his next apprentice.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by pamela Laird (@pamela_laird) on Dec 12, 2019 at 12:04pm PST Pamela told Sarina on Saturday’s Plan B that she had never watched a single episode of The Apprentice before she was cast. After a friend suggested it, she researched the shows success stories and decided to go for it. While Pamela didn't become Lord Sugar’s Apprentice, she made to the final three and impressed those of us who watched from home.   View this post on Instagram   It’s week 5 and scavenger hunt @apprenticeuk ??‍♀️ with the 2 boys this week @lewis_ellis_ & @riyonn_ #theapprentice A post shared by pamela Laird (@pamela_laird) on Oct 29, 2019 at 6:58am PDT The audition process was tough – a full day of interviews -  but being a part of the show was harder. Every three days, a new task was thrown at the candidates. As well as that, the early mornings proved a challenge. Contestants only had twenty minutes to get ready, but Pamela found a way around it. Because she was sleeping in the front room, she could hear the production team sneaking in. That was her cue to get ready – usually giving her an extra forty minutes.   View this post on Instagram   A post shared by pamela Laird (@pamela_laird) on Dec 24, 2019 at 3:28am PST Although Pamela didn't win the show, she gained a lot from it and has even launched a third product in her Moxi Loves range – eco-friendly dry shampoo sheets. She said there are more exciting things to come in 2020. Listen Back Hit the play button above to listen back to the full interview.
