PLAN B GIVING BACK: How You Can Help Barnardos This Christmas

Barnardos Last week as part of Plan B giving back Sarina spoke to Mary Gamble from Barnardos. Barnardos' mission is to help transform children’s lives through their services; support parents, and challenge society where it fails our children.   View this post on Instagram   When we first met her, Molly was quite, withdrawn and listless. She seemed to have a hard time walking or running. Molly and her Mam live in a tiny 6th-floor apartment where there is not enough room to play. She didn’t really know how to play and she had no opportunity to run around and explore. Now, thanks to your ongoing support, Molly plays with other children every day at a Barnardos Early Years’ Service. She’s making friends and has a safe space to run around freely outside and to explore. When he first came to us, he was quiet, wouldn’t make eye contact and tried his best to go unnoticed. Now thanks to your support Alex attends a Barnardos After-School Group where he gets a nutritious meal, help with his homework and his confidence as grown. ? . . . . . #irishcharity #childrenscharity #charitywork #barnardos #kidscharity #grateful #thankful #thanksgiving A post shared by  (@barnardos_irl) on Nov 28, 2019 at 6:27am PST Their mission and vision is to have a country where no child has to suffer and every child is able to reach their full potential.
