Covid Cases Double In A Week As The Reproduction Rate Approaches 2

The Department of Health have confirmed another 5 deaths due to Covid 19 while another 69 cases have been confirmed. The R rate is now 1.8 In the past week almost 50% of cases have been in Kildare, Offaly and Laois. Meanwhile in O’Brien’s Fine Food Factory in Kildare, 80 cases in the virus have been reported.   For reaction we were joined by the HSE’s Chief Clinical Officer Dr Colm Henry.
